Junior Accountant Position - part time

VJ ACCOUNTING & TAXATION SERVICES PTY LTD

VJ Accounting is looking to hire a part time Junior Accountant. Preferably someone working

towards an accounting degree/diploma.

About Us

We are a small accounting practice located in Bella Vista/ Norwest. We currently have a

team of 3 people:

• Naresh – Founder and Principal of the practice – Qualified CPA

• Abhi – Senior Accountant and Qualified CA

• Anoma – Senior Accountant and Accounting Systems Specialist

We are a tradition firm, we provide tax and business services to various clients in a variety

of industries.

The Role

The role is well suited for an individual looking to take their first step in working for an

accounting practice. The role will be a mixture of admin work and introductory tax and

business work. Your duties may include:

• Bookkeeping

• Preparation of basic Tax Returns

• Preparation of Business Activity Statements

• Writing Letters

• Telephone Liaison

No previous experience is required. Good academic results are important but not necessary.

All candidates must have good organisation skills, attention to detail and must be deadlineoriented.

This is a great opportunity to learn and mix with people who have been in the

industry for years.
