The Role

You will be the “go-to” person for all day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll and related taxation matters on behalf of the company. Working closely with the Managing Director, you will use your knowledge of Australian payroll, accounting and employee/company focused taxation regulations to ensure clients are provided with high quality services and appropriate advice. 


This is an interesting, multi-layered role that will fully use your bookkeeping, payroll processing and general accounting knowledge whilst providing work / life balance and career prospects in the future.

 
What you need to have:

·         Proven experience in Business Setup & Establishment, Accounting Compliance including preparation for Audit, Company Tax Returns, Business Activity Statements, GST and FBT returns

·         Strong bookkeeping skills ideally with experience in Cloud accounting package setup & administration

·         Excellent level of payroll experience including processing /management of PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workers Compensation Insurance, etc

·         Understanding of Statutory reporting requirements including, budgeting, Financial Board, & Shareholder statements

·         Ideally, have experience using various accounting software packages such as Xero, MYOB, and other ERP etc

·         Microsoft excel, reporting packages

·         A “can-do”, hands-on approach with willingness to learn new systems and processes
