Library hours and pop-up bookshop

From Monday 29th February Blacktown College Library returns to normal hours.  These are:

Monday 8:45am – 5:30pm
Tuesday 8:45am-7:00pm
Wednesday 8:45am-7:00pm
Thursday 8:45am-5:30pm
Friday 8:45am-4:00pm


The pop-up bookshop has now officially closed at Blacktown. 
Sithra will be available for a few days at lunch time for students to pick up pre-ordered books.  These students have already been notified. 

Anyone else wishing to order books will need to arrange via phone/email to Alpha Books and collect from Mt Druitt College.

Compulsory orientation and study skills sessions

For all enrolled students, or those finalising their enrolment, there are compulsory orientation and study skills sessions next week.

Please bring a pen and notepad and be on time as you will be taken on tours to various parts of the College.

Orientation and study skills sessions are at the following dates and times, you only need to attend one session:

  • Monday February 8 commencing 9:30 am
  • Monday February 8 commencing 6:00pm
  • Thursday February 11 commencing 12:00pm (midday)
  • Thursday February 11 commencing 6:00pm

All orientation and study skills sessions will commence in room D1.08 on the South campus, corner of Newton Road and Main Street, Blacktown.

Free* training is now available through TAFE Western Sydney. This training is fully subsidised by the NSW Government and relates to full qualifications on the 2016 NSW Skills List. They're a great way for people to try out a new career and get your foot in the door for a full qualification.
This opportunity is only available for a limited time and learners must meet eligibility requirements.
